Where is the hotel?

Hotel La Floridiana has a privileged location in a pedestrian area overlooking the view of the sea, sheltered from the noise of the city but within walking distance from the Piazzetta and Via Camerelle, the center of fashion shopping in Capri. We are close to Via Tragara, which leads to the Faraglioni and to the famous Via Krupp, from which you can reach Marina Piccola. Setting out from the Hotel on the most interesting excursions in Capri could not be easier, even on foot.

How can I get to the hotel?

After disembarking at the port of Capri, the fastest way to reach the center, Piazzetta Umberto I, is the funicular, which takes only 3/4 minutes and has only one stop; you can also take a taxi or a bus to easily to reach the center, but this takes around 15 minutes.
Once you reach the Piazzetta , with the clock tower behind you, walk about 150 meters, through the pedestrian area along Via Vittorio Emanuele, turn left on Via Camerelle and after about 100 meters turn right into Via Ignazio Cerio. Then, after about 100 meters, turn left on Via Campo di Teste and after 100 more meters you will be at our hotel.
Although the distance to the hotel is short, we suggest using the convenient paid luggage transport service on an electric trolley, both from the port and from the Piazzetta, especially if your luggage is bulky and heavy.
To and from the port of Capri, you can use the baggage transportation services of Cooperativa Portuali that will welcome you at the landing. You can easily recognize their staff by their blue shirts with their logo, and the service is very safe and quick. Just tell them the name of our hotel and you will soon receive your luggage in your room.
We can offer a paid luggage service to and from the Piazzetta with our electric trolley, after prior reservation.
The hotel is not accessible by car, since theentire center of Capri is only for pedestrians, and this is also the reason why we cannot provide a shuttle service.

Can you arrange the transfer from Rome or Naples?

On request we can arrange private transportation to and from Naples or Rome, by motorboat or helicopter.


How can I book a room?

The simplest, fastest, most convenient and secure way to reserve a room is directly on our website’s online booking system.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

The room is available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 12:30 PM on the day of departure.
On request at least three days in advance, we can arrange for early check-in at noon and late check-out at 3:00 PM.

Do you provide luggage storage?

Yes, we have free luggage storage in case you want to leave your luggage while waiting to check in at 3:00 PM or after check-out at 12:30 PM.

Which rooms have a sea view?

All our rooms have sea views except those of the Classic category, which have a view of the pedestrian area of ​​Capri.

Do you have family rooms?

Yes, there are family rooms in various categories like the Family Classic, the Family Junior Suites and the Suite. We also have special services for families such as toiletries for children, special children’s menus, a lifeguard for children (from mid-July to mid-September), and a crib free of charge per room for children up to the age of three years.

Can I choose my room?

Yes, but during the high season it is hard to please everyone, so it is preferable to request the room at least 3 months in advance.

Do you provide room service?

Yes, room service is available from noon to 9:30 PM.

Are the rooms equipped with air conditioning and Wi-Fi?

Yes, all our rooms are equipped with air conditioning and Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.


I would like to arrange a special surprise for a guest, can you help?

Of course, upon your request we can provide flowers, champagne, or chocolates in the room, or organize a special dinner or breakfast.

Can you arrange an excursion or book a restaurant?

Certainly, our concierge will help you organize excursions in the enchanting landscapes of Capri, the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii and other beautiful places of the Campania region and will help you choose among the many typical restaurants to discover the Caprese cuisine.

Do you have a restaurant?

We do not have an actual restaurant but a dining service that prepares cold or hot dishes of the traditional Caprese cuisine near the pool; we can also arrange romantic dinners by candlelight on the terrace of your room.

What are the pool opening hours?

Our pool is open to guests from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM


We greet our guests with a cool welcome cocktail upon arrival at the hotel.

Free Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi is free and covers the entire hotel.

Special menus for our guests: Gluten-free and vegetarian, organic foods, diet foods and special menus for children.


Our rich and tasty complimentary breakfast is famous for its variety and for the freshness and quality of its ingredients.


The poolside massage service is at our guests' disposal, to provide special moments of relaxation.


A cradle is available free of charge for your children up to the age of 3, upon request for all rooms.

"La Bella Vita"

We may be jaded by our love of Italy (more than 20 visits), but La Floridiana may be our favorite hotel on earth, and we are seasoned travelers (more than fifty countries, six continents). From our first stay at this hotel for our honeymoon a decade ago, we have kept coming back. To date we have stayed in a suite, a junior suite, and a standard room, and all are fabulous. Just make sure you book a room with sea view, because it is spectacular. We've even brought friends to stay here on several occasions. "Location was exceptional"

The staff from check in to check out went out of their way to make your stay the best. Location was exceptional to see all that you want on Capri. We could not believe how quiet it was in the evening. Great for good nights rest. Take advantage of porter service to take luggage to hotel from ferry and back to ferry from hotel. “Lovely hotel in Capri”

We stayed for 6 nights. It is really easy to get to from the funicular. The room we had was comfortable, clean and had good views. The breakfast is lovely, we had a few evening meals and they were very good too (best chef in Capri). The staff were very nice and they give you lots of information on how to make the best of your stay. We hope to return as Capri is a piece of paradise and we still have bits to see! “Beautiful hotel and location !”
